Very decent, no nonsense pub. A good selection of beers on tap from euro lagers such as Peroni and Heineken to 3 or 4 real ales. I sampled Youngs Bitter, Greene King IPA, London Pride and Adnams Explorer all kept in good condition. The food was good quality and reflected the relaxed, unpretentious feel of the place. The best thing was the price! It must be the cheapest pub in Sussex as I can't remember the last time I paid £2 a pint. Highly recommended.
