NOTE:This modern-looking pub just down the road from Charing Cross station has apparently got the lot: real ales, new world wines, cocktails and food. There is even a function room upstairs if you don’t fancy being crammed in next to all the sweaty suits as it's extremely popular, especially after 5pm on any weekday evening. If traditional pubs are your bag, then don’t bother with this one as it has gone down the “stripped-bare-minimal tables to maximise standing punters” route. However in terms of overall quality you could do much worse in these parts.
