You'd be forgiven for thinking that whoever built White Hart Lane Football Stadium had forgotten that people might actually want to get there, the transport links are so abysmal. So as we made the long journey from Seven Sisters station (and on the way back) we stopped off in this pub for some liquid refreshment. Its external appearance and its name may put you off, since it looks a lot like some kind of horrible wine bar with too much pine. But as soon as you walk through the door, it's clear this is a standard boozer, with friendly bar staff, various football fans and a 6 foot Santa. Entertainment was provided in the shape of big screen Sky Sports, along with some mad locals talking gibberish and the mostly friendly banter between Tottenham and Everton fans.
